February 22, 2005, 8:15 am: While driving along Buendia ave. near the World Trade Center, a car hit my Herbie's backside!!! The lady driver (who's driver's license was confiscated by the Makati police and was holding an expired TVR) was making a very fast u-turn! She hit the rear left side of my vehicle causing my wagon's rear tires to skid to the right (due to the impact). The lady driver with an expired TVR blamed me for the accident saying that she was just following a taxi and that I did not let her through and that I was the one who hit her not the other way around (duh!)!
Anyway, thanks to the fast and efficient response of the Pasay policeman who immediately arrived at the scene and did not allow the lady (who wanted to leave immediately and not go with us to the police station) to leave. Thanks also to the policeman in the station at Aurora Blvd., Pasay who patiently dealt with the lady driver and explained to her what her fault was!!!

Thank God, no one was hurt. Tiny just stayed-put inside his kennel. The policeman hailed a taxi cab for Tiny and Carol.
